DOWNTOWN BIKENIGHTS
Erie's first Downtown Bike Night of 2011 dodges rain! Turn out was fair but excitement was high as the bike night season begins.
I for one am glad to get back to Friday instead of Thursday for the Downtown Bike Nights. Picking a Friday, warmer weather bike night, brings in out of towners as well as a volume of spectators. That's the combination you want for good business. Plus, getting up to four bike nights this year is a bonus!

COMMENTARY: Downtown Erie's 2010 Bike Nights are going to be great as usual! The number of bikes definitely climb as the seaon heats up, especially leading up to the Roar on the Shore event in July. The forecast always is good, so get out and ride!
WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!
It says "JAWA" on the tank but we definitely did a double-take at the Downtown Erie Bike Night before discovering it was a custom hand built Yamaha... and this guy had just finished it that day! This kind of bike is of course not for everyone but I thought it was really nice work for a garage build. I love seeing people come out with this sort of thing!
