8 GREAT TUESDAYS at LIBERTY PARK
TUESDAY NIGHTS, 6:30 - 9:30pm
(The foot of Liberty St. off the Bayfront Parkway)
2011 SCHEDULE:
Join us for 8 Great Tuesdays at the Pepsi Amphitheater for FREE open-air Concerts! Erie's beautiful Bayfront provides the perfect backdrop for this musical series. Load a blanket or camp chair on the bike and head down! Where else can you lounge on the grass with hundreds of friends, listen to great open-air music, take in the sights of boats on the bay, and then cap it all off with one of Erie's legendary sunsets? It's truely something special.
FREE ADMISSION: and usually a parking area specifically for bikes!

FYI for our four-wheel friends... Free shuttle service is available starting at 5 p.m. from the Bayfront Intermodal Center and the Park & Ride at I-79 and Lincoln Avenue.

You are invited to the Romolo Chocolates Summer Music Series every Saturday June 4 through Aug. 27 to enjoy great live music played outdoors with family, friends and superb ice cream, chocolate, espresso drinks and more. NON-ALCHOLIC EVENTS
“We’ve expanded the musical genres to be more diverse this year,” Romolo Chocolates owner and certified master confectioner Tony Stefanelli says of the concert series’ 2011 season.
         The first year of the series, the emphasis was on jazz. Stefanelli is a long-time jazz aficionado and supporter of jazz in Erie, as well as an established bass player with jazz ensembles. “The emphasis this year will be more on groups and people will be able to experience a different type of music every week,” Stefanelli explains.
One Friday concert will pay special appreciation to talented local, classical musicians as it is scheduled to precede and welcome the annual Erie Art Museum's Blues & Jazz Festival beginning Saturday, Aug. 6, in Frontier Park.

Sunset Music Series at Presque Isle

2011 SCHEDULE:
Get down to the beach! Sunset Music Series are Beach Concerts that run each Wednesday during June and into July. These are fantastic beach events at Presque Isle and are open to the public. Enjoy good tunes and an occassional huge on-beach bonfire as our famous picturesque sunsets cap the evening over the lake. A food booth provides basic food stuffs: Smith's Hot Dogs and old fashioned iced tea and lemonade. This is one of those things that make Presque Isle and Erie so great! TICKETS: available at all Sunset Music Series concerts and at the Nature Shop and Gallery. Might want to pack some shorts in those saddle bags!

Erie Art Museum's Blues & Jazz Festival
